كتاب الصوم
Rapporté par Mu’adhah Al-‘Adawiyyah, d’après ‘Aishah : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) jeûnait trois jours chaque mois. J’ai demandé : “Lesquels ?” Elle a répondu : “Il ne faisait pas attention aux jours.”

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ الرِّشْكِ، عَنْ مُعَاذَةَ الْعَدَوِيَّةِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَصُومُ ثَلاَثَةَ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ . قُلْتُ مِنْ أَيِّهِ؟ قَالَتْ: لَمْ يَكُنْ يُبَالِي مِنْ أَيِّهِ كَانَ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Mu’adhah Al-‘Adawiyyah that ‘Aishah said:“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to fast three days of each month.” I said: “Which were they?” She said: “He did not care which days they were.”

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہر مہینہ میں تین دن روزہ رکھتے تھے، معاذہ عدویہ کہتی ہیں: میں نے پوچھا: کون سے تین دنوں میں؟ ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہا: آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پروا نہیں کرتے تھے جو بھی تین دن ہوں ۔
