كتاب الصوم
Rapporté par Ibn ‘Umar : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : « Lorsque vous voyez le nouveau croissant, commencez le jeûne, et lorsque vous le voyez (le croissant suivant), arrêtez de jeûner. S’il y a des nuages, complétez le mois à trente jours. » Ibn ‘Umar avait l’habitude de jeûner un jour avant d’apercevoir le croissant

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَرْوَانَ، مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الْعُثْمَانِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " إِذَا رَأَيْتُمُ الْهِلاَلَ فَصُومُوا وَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمُوهُ فَأَفْطِرُوا . فَإِنْ غُمَّ عَلَيْكُمْ فَاقْدُرُوا لَهُ " . وَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ يَصُومُ قَبْلَ الْهِلاَلِ بِيَوْمٍ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:‘When you see the new crescent, fast, and when you see it, stop fasting. If it is cloudy then calculate it (as thirty days).” Ibn ‘Umar used to fast one day before the new crescent was seen
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جب تم چاند دیکھ لو تو روزہ رکھو، اور چاند دیکھ کر ہی روزہ توڑا کرو، اور اگر چاند بادل کی وجہ سے مشتبہ ہو جائے تو تیس دن کی تعداد پوری کرو ۱؎۔ عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما چاند نکلنے کے ایک روز پہلے سے ہی روزہ رکھنا شروع کر دیتے تھے۔
