كتاب الصوم
Rapporté par Rabi’ah bin Ghaz : Il a demandé à ‘Aishah au sujet du jeûne du Messager d’Allah (ﷺ). Elle a dit : « Il jeûnait tout le mois de Sha’ban, jusqu’à le joindre à Ramadan. »

حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمْزَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي ثَوْرُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ الْغَازِ، أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ عَائِشَةَ عَنْ صِيَامِ، رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَقَالَتْ: كَانَ يَصُومُ شَعْبَانَ كُلَّهُ حَتَّى يَصِلَهُ بِرَمَضَانَ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Rabi’ah bin Ghaz asked ‘Aishah about the fasting of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). She said:“He used to fast all of Sha’ban, until he joined it to Ramadan.”

ربیعہ بن الغاز سے روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے روزے کے سلسلے میں پوچھا تو انہوں نے کہا: آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پورے شعبان روزے رکھتے تھے یہاں تک کہ اسے رمضان سے ملا دیتے تھے ۱؎۔
