كتاب الجنائز
Rapporté par Thawban : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : “Celui qui accomplit la prière funéraire recevra un Qirat, et celui qui assiste à l’enterrement recevra deux Qirat.” On a demandé au Prophète (ﷺ) ce qu’était un Qirat, et il a répondu : “C’est comme (la montagne de) Uhud.”

حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدُ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، حَدَّثَنِي سَالِمُ بْنُ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، عَنْ مَعْدَانَ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " مَنْ صَلَّى عَلَى جِنَازَةٍ فَلَهُ قِيرَاطٌ وَمَنْ شَهِدَ دَفْنَهَا فَلَهُ قِيرَاطَانِ " . قَالَ: فَسُئِلَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ عَنِ الْقِيرَاطِ؟ فَقَالَ " مِثْلُ أُحُدٍ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Thawban that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:“Whoever offers the funeral prayer will have one Qirat and whoever attends the burial will have two Qirat.” The Prophet (ﷺ) was asked about the Qirat and he said: “(It is) like Uhud.”
Traduction en ourdou
ثوبان رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جس نے کسی کی نماز جنازہ پڑھی، تو اس کو ایک قیراط ثواب ہے، اور جو اس کے دفن میں بھی شریک رہا، تو اس کو دو قیراط برابر ثواب ہے ، نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے قیراط کے متعلق پوچھا گیا، تو آپ نے فرمایا: قیراط احد پہاڑ کے برابر ہے ۔
