Rapporté par ‘Abdur-Rahman bin Abi Laila : Zaid bin Arqan avait l’habitude de dire le takbir quatre fois pendant la prière funéraire, et il l’a dit cinq fois pour une prière. Je lui ai demandé à ce sujet et il a dit : “Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) faisait cela.”

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَكِيمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ، وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، قَالَ كَانَ زَيْدُ بْنُ أَرْقَمَ يُكَبِّرُ عَلَى جَنَائِزِنَا أَرْبَعًا وَأَنَّهُ كَبَّرَ عَلَى جِنَازَةٍ خَمْسًا فَسَأَلْتُهُ فَقَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يُكَبِّرُهَا .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that ‘Abdur-Rahman bin Abi Laila said:“Zaid bin Arqan used to say the Takbir four times in the funeral prayer, and he said the Takbir five times for one funeral. I asked him (about that) and he said: ‘The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to do that.’”
Traduction en ourdou
عبدالرحمٰن بن ابی لیلیٰ کہتے ہیں کہ زید بن ارقم رضی اللہ عنہ ہمارے جنازوں میں چار بار اللہ اکبر کہا کرتے تھے، ایک بار انہوں نے ایک جنازہ میں پانچ تکبیرات کہیں، میں نے ان سے وجہ پوچھی تو انہوں نے کہا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پانچ تکبیرات ۱؎ ( بھی ) کہتے تھے۔
