Rapporté par Ayyub : Hafsah m’a rapporté, d’après Umm ‘Atiyyah, un récit similaire à celui de Muhammad. Dans la version de Hafsah, il est dit : « Lavez-la un nombre impair de fois. » Et : « Lavez-lui le visage trois ou cinq fois. » Et : « Commencez par le côté droit, par les endroits lavés lors des ablutions. » Umm ‘Atiyyah a aussi dit : « Nous avons coiffé ses cheveux en trois nattes. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، حَدَّثَتْنِي حَفْصَةُ، عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ، بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَكَانَ فِي حَدِيثِ حَفْصَةَ " اغْسِلْنَهَا وِتْرًا " . وَكَانَ فِيهِ " اغْسِلْنَهَا ثَلاَثًا أَوْ خَمْسًا " . وَكَانَ فِيهِ " ابْدَءُوا بِمَيَامِنِهَا وَمَوَاضِعِ الْوُضُوءِ مِنْهَا " . وَكَانَ فِيهِ أَنَّ أُمَّ عَطِيَّةَ قَالَتْ وَامْشِطْنَهَا ثَلاَثَةَ قُرُونٍ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Ayyub who said:“Hafsah narrated to me, from Umm ‘Atiyyah” and it is similar to the Hadith of Muhammad. And in the narration of Hafsah it says: “Wash her an odd number of times.” And: “Wash her face three or five times.” And “Start on her right, with the places washed in ablution.” And it says that Umm ‘Atiyyah said: “And we combed her hair into three braids.”

اس سند سے بھی ام عطیہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے محمد بن سیرین کی سابقہ حدیث کی طرح مروی ہے اور حفصہ رضی اللہ عنہا کی روایت میں یہ ہے کہ: ان کو طاق بار غسل دو ، اور اس میں یہ بھی ہے کہ: انہیں تین بار یا پانچ بار غسل دو، اور دائیں طرف کے اعضاء وضو سے غسل شروع کرو ۔ اور اس روایت میں یہ بھی ہے کہ ام عطیہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہا: ہم نے ان کے بالوں میں کنگھی کر کے تین چوٹیاں کر دیں ۱؎۔
