Hadith 994 — Livre 5: Establishing the Prayer and the Sunnah Regarding Them
كتاب إقامة الصلاة والسنن فيها
Rapporté par Simak bin Harb, qui a entendu Nu’man bin Bashir dire : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) alignait les rangs jusqu’à ce qu’ils soient droits comme une lance ou une flèche. Un jour, il a vu la poitrine d’un homme dépasser et le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : « Alignez vos rangs ou Allah créera la division parmi vous. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا سِمَاكُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النُّعْمَانَ بْنَ بَشِيرٍ، يَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يُسَوِّي الصَّفَّ حَتَّى يَجْعَلَهُ مِثْلَ الرُّمْحِ أَوِ الْقِدْحِ . قَالَ فَرَأَى صَدْرَ رَجُلٍ نَاتِئًا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ " سَوُّوا صُفُوفَكُمْ أَوْ لَيُخَالِفَنَّ اللَّهُ بَيْنَ وُجُوهِكُمْ " .
Traduction anglaise
Simak bin Harb narrated that he heard Nu’man bin Bashir say:“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to straighten the rows until he made them like a spear or an arrow-shaft. Once he saw a man’s chest (sticking out) so the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘Make your rows straight or Allah will create division among you.’”

نعمان بن بشیر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نیزہ یا تیر کی طرح صف سیدھی کرتے تھے، ایک بار آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک شخص کا سینہ صف سے باہر نکلا ہوا دیکھا تو فرمایا: اپنی صفیں برابر کرو، یا اللہ تمہارے چہروں کے درمیان اختلاف پیدا فرما دے گا ۱؎۔
