Rapporté par Anas bin Malik : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : « Je commence la prière en voulant la faire longue, mais j’entends un bébé pleurer, alors je la raccourcis, car je sais combien cela dérange sa mère. »

حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " إِنِّي لأَدْخُلُ فِي الصَّلاَةِ وَأَنَا أُرِيدُ إِطَالَتَهَا فَأَسْمَعُ بُكَاءَ الصَّبِيِّ فَأَتَجَوَّزُ فِي صَلاَتِي مِمَّا أَعْلَمُ لِوَجْدِ أُمِّهِ بِبُكَائِهِ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Anas bin Malik said:“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘I start prayer and I want to make it long, but then I hear an infant crying, so I make my prayer short, because I know the distress caused to the mother by his crying.’”

انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: میں نماز شروع کرتا ہوں اور لمبی کرنے کا ارادہ رکھتا ہوں، اتنے میں بچے کے رونے کی آواز سن لیتا ہوں تو نماز اس خیال سے مختصر کر دیتا ہوں کہ بچے کی ماں کو اس کے رونے کی وجہ سے تکلیف ہو گی ۱؎۔
