Rapporté par Abu Hurairah : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : “Quand l’un de vous bâille, qu’il mette sa main devant sa bouche et ne fasse pas de bruit, car Satan se moque de lui.”

Texte arabe original
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، أَنْبَأَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " إِذَا تَثَاءَبَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَضَعْ يَدَهُ عَلَى فِيهِ، وَلاَ يَعْوِي، فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَضْحَكُ مِنْهُ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:“When anyone of you yawns, let him put his hand over his mouth and not make a sound, because Satan laughs at him.”
Traduction en ourdou
ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جب کوئی شخص جمائی لے تو اپنا ہاتھ اپنے منہ پر رکھ لے اور آواز نہ کرے، اس لیے کہ شیطان اس سے ہنستا ہے ۔
