Hadith 945 — Livre 5: Establishing the Prayer and the Sunnah Regarding Them

Rapporté par Busr bin Sa’eed : Zaid bin Khalid a envoyé demander à Abu Juhaim Al-Ansari : “Qu’as-tu entendu du Prophète (ﷺ) à propos d’un homme qui prie ?” Il a répondu : “J’ai entendu le Prophète (ﷺ) dire : ‘Si l’un de vous savait (la gravité du péché) de passer devant son frère qui prie, alors attendre quarante’,” (un des rapporteurs) a dit : “Je ne sais pas s’il voulait dire quarante ans, quarante mois ou quarante jours, ‘serait mieux pour lui que de passer devant.’”

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ أَبِي النَّضْرِ، عَنْ بُسْرِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، أَنَّ زَيْدَ بْنَ خَالِدٍ، أَرْسَلَ إِلَى أَبِي جُهَيْمٍ الأَنْصَارِيِّ يَسْأَلُهُ مَا سَمِعْتَ مِنَ النَّبِيِّ، ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فِي الرَّجُلِ يَمُرُّ بَيْنَ يَدَىِ الرَّجُلِ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي فَقَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَقُولُ " لَوْ يَعْلَمُ أَحَدُكُمْ مَالَهُ أَنْ يَمُرَّ بَيْنَ يَدَىْ أَخِيهِ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي كَانَ لأَنْ يَقِفَ أَرْبَعِينَ - قَالَ لاَ أَدْرِي أَرْبَعِينَ عَامًا أَوْ أَرْبَعِينَ شَهْرًا أَوْ أَرْبَعِينَ يَوْمًا - خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Busr bin Sa’eed that Zaid bin Khalid sent word to Abu Juhaim Al-Ansari asking him:“What did you hear from the Prophet (ﷺ) about a man when he is performing prayer?” He said: “I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying: ‘If anyone of you knew (how great is the sin involved) when he passed in front of his brother who is performing prayer, then waiting for forty’,” (one of the narrators) said: “I do not know if he meant forty years, forty months, or forty days, ‘would be better for him than that.”
Traduction en ourdou
بسر بن سعید سے روایت ہے کہ زید بن خالد رضی اللہ عنہ نے ابوجہیم انصاری رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس کسی کو یہ پوچھنے کے لیے بھیجا کہ انہوں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اس شخص کے بارے میں کیا سنا ہے، جو نمازی کے آگے سے گزرے؟ انہوں نے کہا: میں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا: اگر تم میں سے کوئی جان لے کہ اپنے بھائی کے آگے سے نماز کی حالت میں گزرنے میں کیا گناہ ہے، تو اس کے لیے چالیس … تک ٹھہرے رہنا آگے سے گزرنے سے بہتر ہے ۔ راوی کہتے ہیں کہ مجھے یاد نہیں کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے چالیس سال، چالیس مہینے یا چالیس دن فرمایا ۱؎۔
