Hadith 877 — Livre 5: Establishing the Prayer and the Sunnah Regarding Them
كتاب إقامة الصلاة والسنن فيها
Rapporté par Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri : Il a entendu le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) dire : « Quand l’imam dit : “Sami’ Allahu liman hamidah (Allah entend ceux qui Le louent)”, dites : “Allahumma, Rabbana wa lakal-hamd (Ô Allah ! Ô notre Seigneur ! À Toi la louange)”. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَقُولُ " إِذَا قَالَ الإِمَامُ سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ . فَقُولُوا اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri that he heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say:“When the Imam says: ‘Sami’ Allahu liman hamidah (Allah hears those who praise Him),’ say: ‘Allahumma, Rabbana wa lakal-hamd (O Allah! O our Lord! To You is the praise).’”
Traduction en ourdou
ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا: جب امام «سمع الله لمن حمده» کہے تو تم «اللهم ربنا ولك الحمد» کہو ۔
