Hadith 873 — Livre 5: Establishing the Prayer and the Sunnah Regarding Them
كتاب إقامة الصلاة والسنن فيها
Rapporté par Mus’ab bin Sa’d : Je me suis incliné (en prière) à côté de mon père, et j’ai mis mes mains entre mes genoux. Il a frappé ma main et a dit : “Nous faisions cela avant, puis on nous a ordonné de les poser sur les genoux.”

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنِ الزُّبَيْرِ بْنِ عَدِيٍّ، عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، قَالَ رَكَعْتُ إِلَى جَنْبِ أَبِي فَطَبَّقْتُ فَضَرَبَ يَدِي وَقَالَ قَدْ كُنَّا نَفْعَلُ هَذَا، ثُمَّ أُمِرْنَا أَنْ نَرْفَعَ إِلَى الرُّكَبِ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Mus’ab bin Sa’d said:“I bowed (in prayer) beside my father, and I put my hands between my knees. He struck my hand and said: ‘We used to do that, then we were commanded to put them on the knees.’”
Traduction en ourdou
معصب بن سعد سے روایت ہے، انہوں نے کہا کہ میں نے اپنے والد ( سعد بن ابی وقاص رضی اللہ عنہ ) کے قریب ( نماز پڑھتے ہوئے ) رکوع کیا تو تطبیق کی۔ انہوں نے میرے ہاتھ پر مارا اور فرمایا: ہم پہلے اس طرح کیا کرتے تھے، پھر ہمیں حکم دیا کہ ( ہاتھ ) گھٹنوں کے اوپر رکھیں۔
