Hadith 871 — Livre 5: Establishing the Prayer and the Sunnah Regarding Them
كتاب إقامة الصلاة والسنن فيها
Rapporté par ‘Ali bin Shaiban, qui faisait partie d’une délégation auprès du Prophète (ﷺ) : Nous sommes partis jusqu’à arriver auprès du Messager d’Allah (ﷺ), nous lui avons prêté allégeance et avons prié derrière lui. Il a regardé du coin de l’œil un homme qui ne redressait pas sa colonne vertébrale en s’inclinant et en se prosternant. Quand le Prophète (ﷺ) a terminé la prière, il a dit : “Ô musulmans, il n’y a pas de prière pour celui qui ne redresse pas sa colonne vertébrale en s’inclinant et en se prosternant.”

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُلاَزِمُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بَدْرٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ شَيْبَانَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، . عَلِيِّ بْنِ شَيْبَانَ - وَكَانَ مِنَ الْوَفْدِ - قَالَ خَرَجْنَا حَتَّى قَدِمْنَا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَبَايَعْنَاهُ وَصَلَّيْنَا خَلْفَهُ فَلَمَحَ بِمُؤْخِرِ عَيْنِهِ رَجُلاً لاَ يُقِيمُ صَلاَتَهُ - يَعْنِي صُلْبَهُ - فِي الرُّكُوعِ وَالسُّجُودِ فَلَمَّا قَضَى النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ الصَّلاَةَ قَالَ " يَا مَعْشَرَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ لاَ صَلاَةَ لِمَنْ لاَ يُقِيمُ صُلْبَهُ فِي الرُّكُوعِ وَالسُّجُودِ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that ‘Ali bin Shaiban who was part of a delegation (to the Prophet (ﷺ)) said:“We set out until we came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and we gave him our oath of allegiance and performed prayer behind him. He glanced out of the corner of his eye at a man who was not settling his spine when he bowed and prostrated. When the Prophet (ﷺ) finished the prayer, he said: ‘O Muslims, there is no prayer for the one who does not settle his spine when bowing and prostrating.’”
Traduction en ourdou
علی بن شیبان رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے اور وہ ان لوگوں میں سے تھے جو اپنی قوم کے نمائندہ بن کر آئے تھے، وہ کہتے ہیں: ہم نکلے یہاں تک کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آئے، ہم نے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے بیعت کی اور آپ کے پیچھے نماز پڑھی، آپ نے کنکھیوں سے ایک شخص کو دیکھا جو رکوع و سجود میں اپنی پیٹھ سیدھی نہیں کر رہا تھا، جب نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نماز سے فارغ ہوئے تو فرمایا: اے مسلمانوں کی جماعت! اس شخص کی نماز نہیں ہو گی جو رکوع و سجود میں اپنی پیٹھ سیدھی نہ رکھے ۔
