كتاب إقامة الصلاة والسنن فيها
Rapporté par Ibn Ukaimah : J’ai entendu Abu Hurairah dire : Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dirigé ses compagnons dans une prière ; nous pensons que c’était la prière du Subh. Il a dit : « Est-ce que quelqu’un parmi vous a récité ? » Un homme a répondu : « Moi, je l’ai fait. » Il a dit : « Je me demandais en moi-même : qu’est-ce qui ne va pas chez moi pour que quelqu’un lutte avec moi pour le Coran ? »

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَهِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ أُكَيْمَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ صَلَّى النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ بِأَصْحَابِهِ صَلاَةً نَظُنُّ أَنَّهَا الصُّبْحُ فَقَالَ " هَلْ قَرَأَ مِنْكُمْ مِنْ أَحَدٍ " . قَالَ رَجُلٌ أَنَا . قَالَ " إِنِّي أَقُولُ مَا لِي أُنَازَعُ الْقُرْآنَ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Ibn Ukaimah said:“I heard Abu Hurairah say: ‘The Prophet (ﷺ) led his Companions in a prayer; we think it was the Subh. He said: “Did anyone among you recite?” A man said: “I did.” He said: “I was saying to myself, what is wrong with me that someone is fighting to wrest the Qur’an from me?”

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنے صحابہ کو کوئی نماز پڑھائی، ( ہمارا خیال ہے کہ وہ صبح کی نماز تھی ) نماز سے فراغت کے بعد آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: کیا تم میں سے کسی نے قراءت کی ہے؟ ، ایک آدمی نے کہا: جی ہاں، میں نے کی ہے، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: میں سوچ رہا تھا کہ کیا بات ہے قرآن پڑھنے میں کوئی مجھ سے منازعت ( کھینچا تانی ) کر رہا ہے ۔
