Hadith 846 — Livre 5: Establishing the Prayer and the Sunnah Regarding Them
كتاب إقامة الصلاة والسنن فيها
Rapporté par Abu Hurairah : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : « L’imam a été désigné pour être suivi : quand il dit Allahu Akbar, dites Allahu Akbar ; quand il récite, écoutez attentivement ; quand il dit : Non pas le chemin de ceux qui ont encouru Ta colère, ni de ceux qui se sont égarés [1:7], dites Amin ; quand il s’incline, inclinez-vous ; quand il dit Sami’ Allahu liman hamidah (Allah entend celui qui Le loue), dites Allahumma Rabbana wa lakal-hamd (Ô Allah, notre Seigneur, à Toi la louange) ; quand il se prosterne, prosternez-vous ; et s’il prie assis, alors priez tous assis. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ الأَحْمَرُ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلاَنَ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " إِنَّمَا جُعِلَ الإِمَامُ لِيُؤْتَمَّ بِهِ فَإِذَا كَبَّرَ فَكَبِّرُوا وَإِذَا قَرَأَ فَأَنْصِتُوا وَإِذَا قَالَ {غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ الضَّالِّينَ} فَقُولُوا آمِينَ وَإِذَا رَكَعَ فَارْكَعُوا وَإِذَا قَالَ سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ . فَقُولُوا اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ وَإِذَا سَجَدَ فَاسْجُدُوا وَإِذَا صَلَّى جَالِسًا فَصَلُّوا جُلُوسًا أَجْمَعِينَ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘The Imam has been appointed to be followed, so when he says Allahu Akbar, then say Allahu Akbar, when he recites, then listen attentively; when he says: Not (the way) of those who earned Your anger, nor of those who went astray,[1:7] then say Amin; when he bows then bow; when he says Sami’ Allahu liman hamidah (Allah hears those who praise Him), then say Allahumma Rabbana wa lakal-hamd (O Allah, our Lord, to You is the praise);” when he prostrates then prostrate; and if he prays sitting down then all of you pray sitting down.’”
Traduction en ourdou
ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: امام اس لیے ہے کہ اس کی اقتداء کی جائے، لہٰذا جب وہ «ألله أكبر» کہے تو تم بھی«ألله أكبر» کہو، اور جب قراءت کرے تو خاموشی سے اس کو سنو ۱؎، اور «غير المغضوب عليهم ولا الضالين» کہے تو آمین کہو، اور جب رکوع کرے تو تم بھی رکوع کرو، اور جب «سمع الله لمن حمده» کہے تو «اللهم ربنا ولك الحمد» کہو، اور جب سجدہ کرے تو تم بھی سجدہ کرو، اور جب بیٹھ کر نماز پڑھائے تو تم سب بھی بیٹھ کر پڑھو ۲؎۔
