Rapporté par Jabir bin ‘Abdullah : Nous récitions l’Ouverture du Livre (Al-Fatiha) et une sourate derrière l’imam dans les deux premières unités du Zuhr et du ‘Asr, et dans les deux dernières, nous récitions seulement l’Ouverture du Livre

Texte arabe original
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ الْفَقِيرِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ كُنَّا نَقْرَأُ فِي الظُّهْرِ وَالْعَصْرِ خَلْفَ الإِمَامِ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ الأُولَيَيْنِ بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ وَسُورَةٍ وَفِي الأُخْرَيَيْنِ بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Jabir bin ‘Abdullah said:“We used to recite the Opening of the Book and a Surah behind the Imam in the first two Rak’ah of the Zuhr and the ‘Asr, and in the last wo Rak’ah (we would recite) the Opening of the Book.”
Traduction en ourdou
جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ ہم ظہر و عصر میں امام کے پیچھے پہلی دونوں رکعتوں میں سورۃ فاتحہ اور کوئی ایک سورۃ پڑھتے تھے، اور آخری دونوں رکعتوں میں صرف سورۃ فاتحہ پڑھتے تھے ۱؎۔
