كتاب إقامة الصلاة والسنن فيها
Rapporté par Abu Hurairah : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) priait jusqu’à ce que ses pieds enflent. On lui a dit : « Ô Messager d’Allah, Allah t’a pardonné tes péchés passés et futurs. » Il a répondu : « Ne devrais-je pas être un serviteur reconnaissant ? »

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هِشَامٍ الرِّفَاعِيُّ، مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَمَانٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يُصَلِّي حَتَّى تَوَرَّمَتْ قَدَمَاهُ فَقِيلَ لَهُ إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ غَفَرَ لَكَ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِكَ وَمَا تَأَخَّرَ . قَالَ " أَفَلاَ أَكُونُ عَبْدًا شَكُورًا " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said:“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to pray until his feet became swollen. It was said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, Allah has forgiven you your past and future sins.’ He said: ‘Should I not be a thankful slave?’”
Traduction en ourdou
ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نماز پڑھتے یہاں تک کہ آپ کے پاؤں سوج جاتے، آپ سے عرض کیا گیا: اللہ تعالیٰ نے آپ کے اگلے اور پچھلے سارے گناہ معاف کر دئیے ہیں ( پھر آپ اتنی مشقت کیوں اٹھاتے ہیں ) ؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: کیا میں شکر گزار بندہ نہ بنوں ۱؎۔
