Hadith 1415 — Livre 5: Establishing the Prayer and the Sunnah Regarding Them
كتاب إقامة الصلاة والسنن فيها
Rapporté par Anas : Le Prophète (ﷺ) faisait le sermon en s’appuyant sur un tronc d’arbre. Lorsqu’il a commencé à utiliser la chaire, il s’est dirigé vers elle, et le tronc a poussé un gémissement de tristesse. Il est alors venu vers lui, l’a enlacé, et il s’est calmé. Il a dit : « Si je ne l’avais pas enlacé, il aurait continué à pleurer jusqu’au Jour de la Résurrection. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ خَلاَّدٍ الْبَاهِلِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزُ بْنُ أَسَدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ أَبِي عَمَّارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، . وَعَنْ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ كَانَ يَخْطُبُ إِلَى جِذْعٍ فَلَمَّا اتَّخَذَ الْمِنْبَرَ ذَهَبَ إِلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فَحَنَّ الْجِذْعُ فَأَتَاهُ فَاحْتَضَنَهُ فَسَكَنَ . فَقَالَ " لَوْ لَمْ أَحْتَضِنْهُ لَحَنَّ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Anas that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to deliver the sermon leaning on a tree trunk. When he started to use the pulpit, he went to the pulpit, and the trunk made a sorrowful sound. So he came to it and embraced it, and it calmed down. He said:“If I had not embraced it, it would have continued to grieve until the Day of Resurrection.”

انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کھجور کے ایک تنے کے سہارے خطبہ دیتے تھے، جب منبر تیار ہو گیا تو آپ منبر کی طرف چلے، وہ تنا رونے لگا تو آپ نے اسے اپنے گود میں لے لیا، تو وہ خاموش ہو گیا، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اگر میں اسے گود میں نہ لیتا تو وہ قیامت تک روتا رہتا ۔
