Rapporté par Mu’adhah Al-‘Adawiyyah : J’ai demandé à ‘Aishah : « Le Prophète (ﷺ) priait-il la prière Duha ? » Elle a répondu : « Oui, quatre unités (Rak’ah), et il ajoutait ce qu’Allah voulait. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا شَبَابَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ الرِّشْكِ، عَنْ مُعَاذَةَ الْعَدَوِيَّةِ، قَالَتْ سَأَلْتُ عَائِشَةَ أَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يُصَلِّي الضُّحَى قَالَتْ نَعَمْ أَرْبَعًا وَيَزِيدُ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ .
Traduction anglaise
Mu’adhah Al-‘Adawiyyah said:“I asked ‘Aishah: ‘Did the Prophet (ﷺ) pray Duha?’ She said: ‘Yes; four (Rak’ah) and he would add whatever Allah willed.’”
Traduction en ourdou
معاذہ عدویہ کہتی ہیں کہ میں نے ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے پوچھا: کیا نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نماز الضحی ( چاشت کی نماز ) پڑھتے تھے؟ کہا: ہاں، چار رکعت، اور جتنا اللہ چاہتا زیادہ پڑھتے ۱؎۔
