كتاب إقامة الصلاة والسنن فيها
Rapporté par ‘Aïsha, et ceci est le hadith d’Abu Bakr : Après avoir terminé la prière d’‘Isha’ jusqu’à l’aube, le Prophète (ﷺ) priait onze unités de prière, en saluant après chaque deux unités et en terminant par une unité pour le Witr. Il restait en prosternation aussi longtemps qu’il faut à l’un d’entre vous pour réciter cinquante versets avant de relever la tête. Quand le muezzin se taisait après le premier appel à la prière du Subh, il se levait et priait deux unités courtes

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا شَبَابَةُ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ، حَدَّثَنَا الأَوْزَاعِيُّ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، - وَهَذَا حَدِيثُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ - قَالَتْ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يُصَلِّي مَا بَيْنَ أَنْ يَفْرُغَ مِنْ صَلاَةِ الْعِشَاءِ إِلَى الْفَجْرِ إِحْدَى عَشْرَةَ رَكْعَةً يُسَلِّمُ فِي كُلِّ اثْنَتَيْنِ وَيُوتِرُ بِوَاحِدَةٍ وَيَسْجُدُ فِيهِنَّ سَجْدَةً بِقَدْرِ مَا يَقْرَأُ أَحَدُكُمْ خَمْسِينَ آيَةً قَبْلَ أَنْ يَرْفَعَ رَأْسَهُ فَإِذَا سَكَتَ الْمُؤَذِّنُ مِنَ الأَذَانِ الأَوَّلِ مِنْ صَلاَةِ الصُّبْحِ قَامَ فَرَكَعَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ خَفِيفَتَيْنِ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that ‘Aishah said, and this is the Hadith of Abu Bakr. “During the period after he finished the ‘Isha’ prayer until the Fajr, the Prophet (ﷺ) used to pray eleven Rak’ah, saying the Salam after each two Rak’ah and praying Witr with one Rak’ah. He would prostrate for as long as it takes anyone of you to recite fifty Verses before he would raise his head. When the Mu’adh-dhin fell silent after the first Adhan for the Subh prayer, he would get up and pray two brief Rak’ah.”

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نماز عشاء کے بعد سے فجر تک گیارہ رکعت پڑھتے تھے، اور ہر دو رکعت پر سلام پھیرتے، اور ایک رکعت وتر پڑھتے تھے، اور ان رکعتوں میں سجدہ اتنا طویل کرتے کہ کوئی سر اٹھانے سے پہلے پچاس آیتیں پڑھ لے، اور جب مؤذن صبح کی پہلی اذان سے فارغ ہو جاتا تو آپ کھڑے ہوتے، اور دو ہلکی رکعتیں پڑھتے۔
