Hadith 1328 — Livre 5: Establishing the Prayer and the Sunnah Regarding Them
كتاب إقامة الصلاة والسنن فيها
Rapporté par Nadr bin Shaiban : J’ai rencontré Abu Salamah bin ‘Abdur-Rahman et je lui ai dit : « Raconte-moi un hadith que tu as entendu de ton père à propos du mois de Ramadan. » Il a dit : « Oui, mon père m’a raconté que le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a parlé du mois de Ramadan et a dit : “C’est un mois qu’Allah vous a ordonné de jeûner, et dans lequel j’ai instauré la prière nocturne (Qiyam) comme une tradition pour vous. Donc, celui qui jeûne ce mois et passe ses nuits en prière, avec foi et dans l’espoir d’une récompense, sortira de ses péchés comme au jour où sa mère l’a mis au monde.” »

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، وَعُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، عَنْ نَصْرِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيِّ، عَنِ النَّضْرِ بْنِ شَيْبَانَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَكِيمٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْجَهْضَمِيُّ، وَالْقَاسِمُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْحُدَّانِيُّ، كِلاَهُمَا عَنِ النَّضْرِ بْنِ شَيْبَانَ، قَالَ لَقِيتُ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ فَقُلْتُ حَدِّثْنِي بِحَدِيثٍ، سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ، أَبِيكَ يَذْكُرُهُ فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ . قَالَ نَعَمْ . حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ ذَكَرَ شَهْرَ رَمَضَانَ فَقَالَ " شَهْرٌ كَتَبَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْكُمْ صِيَامَهُ وَسَنَنْتُ لَكُمْ قِيَامَهُ فَمَنْ صَامَهُ وَقَامَهُ إِيمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا خَرَجَ مِنْ ذُنُوبِهِ كَيَوْمَ وَلَدَتْهُ أُمُّهُ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Nadr bin Shaiban said:“I met Abu Salamah bin ‘Abdur-Rahman and said: ‘Tell me a Hadith that you heard from your father, in which mention is made of the month of Ramadan.’ He said: ‘Yes, my father narrated to me that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) mentioned the month of Ramadan and said: “A month which Allah has enjoined upon you to fast, and in which I have established Qiyam (prayers at night) as Sunnah for you. So whoever fasts it and spends its nights in prayer out of faith and in hope of reward; he will emerge from his sins as on the day his mother bore him.”

نضر بن شیبان کہتے ہیں کہ میں ابوسلمہ بن عبدالرحمٰن سے ملا اور کہا: آپ مجھ سے کوئی ایسی حدیث بیان کیجئے، جو آپ نے رمضان سے متعلق اپنے والد سے سنی ہو، ابوسلمہ نے کہا: ہاں، میرے والد نے مجھ سے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ماہ رمضان کا ذکر کیا تو فرمایا: وہ ایسا مہینہ ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے تمہارے اوپر اس کے روزے کو فرض قرار دیا ہے، اور میں نے اس کے قیام اللیل کو تمہارے لیے مسنون قرار دیا ہے، لہٰذا جو شخص ایمان کے ساتھ ثواب کی نیت سے اس مہینے میں روزے رکھے، اور راتوں میں نفل پڑھے، وہ اپنے گناہوں سے اس طرح نکل جائے گا جیسے اس دن تھا جس دن اس کی ماں نے جنا تھا ۔
