كتاب إقامة الصلاة والسنن فيها
Rapporté par ‘Abdullah bin Sa’ib : J’ai assisté à la prière de l’Aïd avec le Messager d’Allah ﷺ. Il nous dirigea dans la prière de l’Aïd, puis il dit : “J’ai terminé la prière. Celui qui veut rester pour écouter le sermon, qu’il reste, et celui qui veut partir, qu’il parte.”

حَدَّثَنَا هَدِيَّةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ، وَعَمْرُو بْنُ رَافِعٍ الْبَجَلِيُّ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، قَالَ حَضَرْتُ الْعِيدَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَصَلَّى بِنَا الْعِيدَ ثُمَّ قَالَ " قَدْ قَضَيْنَا الصَّلاَةَ. فَمَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَجْلِسَ لِلْخُطْبَةِ فَلْيَجْلِسْ. وَمَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَذْهَبَ فَلْيَذْهَبْ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that ‘Abdullah bin Sa’ib said:“I attended the ‘Eid prayer with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ). He led us in offering the ‘Eid prayer, then he said: ‘I have finished the prayer. Whoever wants to sit (and listen to) the sermon, then let him sit, and whoever wants to leave, then let him leave.’”
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن سائب رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ نماز عید میں حاضر ہوا، تو آپ نے ہمیں عید کی نماز پڑھائی، پھر فرمایا: ہم نماز ادا کر چکے، لہٰذا جو شخص خطبہ کے لیے بیٹھنا چاہے بیٹھے، اور جو جانا چاہے جائے ۔
