Rapporté par Isma’il bin Abu Khalid : J’ai vu Abu Kahil, qui était un Compagnon, et mon frère m’a raconté qu’il disait : “J’ai vu le Prophète ﷺ prononcer le sermon sur sa chamelle, et un Éthiopien tenait sa bride.”

Texte arabe original
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، قَالَ رَأَيْتُ أَبَا كَاهِلٍ وَكَانَتْ لَهُ صُحْبَةٌ فَحَدَّثَنِي أَخِي، عَنْهُ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَخْطُبُ عَلَى نَاقَةٍ وَحَبَشِيٌّ آخِذٌ بِخِطَامِهَا .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Isma’il bin Abu Khalid said:“I saw Abu Kahil, and he was a Companions, and my brother narrated to me that he said: ‘I saw the Prophet (ﷺ) delivering the sermon atop his she-camel, and an Ethiopian was holding onto its reins.’”

اسماعیل بن ابی خالد کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے ابوکاہل رضی اللہ عنہ کو دیکھا ہے، انہیں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے شرف صحبت حاصل تھا، میرے بھائی نے مجھ سے بیان کیا کہ ابوکاہل رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ میں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو ایک اونٹنی پر خطبہ دیتے ہوئے دیکھا، اور ایک حبشی اس کی نکیل پکڑے ہوئے تھے ۱؎۔
