Rapporté par ‘Ubaidullah bin ‘Abdullah : ‘Umar sortit le jour de l’Aïd et envoya demander à Abu Waqid Al-Laithi ce que le Prophète ﷺ récitait ce jour-là. Il répondit : “Qaf” [Qaf (50)] et “Iqtarabat” [Al-Qamar]

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، أَنْبَأَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ ضَمْرَةَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ خَرَجَ عُمَرُ يَوْمَ عِيدٍ فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَى أَبِي وَاقِدٍ اللَّيْثِيِّ بِأَىِّ شَىْءٍ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَقْرَأُ فِي مِثْلِ هَذَا الْيَوْمِ؟ قَالَ بِـ {ق} وَاقْتَرَبَتْ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that ‘Ubaidullah bin ‘Abdullah said:“Umar went out on the day of ‘Eid and sent word to Abu Waqid Al-Laithi asking what the Prophet (ﷺ) used to recite on this day. He said: ‘Qaf [Qaf (50)] and ‘Iqtarabat’.” [Al-Qamar]
Traduction en ourdou
عبیداللہ بن عبداللہ کہتے ہیں کہ عمر رضی اللہ عنہ عید کے دن نکلے تو ابوواقد لیثی رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس یہ پوچھنے کے لیے انہوں نے آدمی بھیجا کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اس دن نماز عید میں کون سی سورۃ پڑھتے تھے، تو انہوں نے کہا: سورۃ «قٓ» اور«اقتربت الساعۃ»۔
