Rapporté par Umm Salamah : Par Celui qui a repris son âme (c’est-à-dire celle du Prophète (ﷺ)), il n’est pas mort avant d’avoir accompli la plupart de ses prières assis. Et l’action qu’il préférait le plus était celle que la personne fait régulièrement, même si elle est petite

Texte arabe original
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَتْ وَالَّذِي ذَهَبَ بِنَفْسِهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ مَا مَاتَ حَتَّى كَانَ أَكْثَرُ صَلاَتِهِ وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ وَكَانَ أَحَبُّ الأَعْمَالِ إِلَيْهِ الْعَمَلَ الصَّالِحَ الَّذِي يَدُومُ عَلَيْهِ الْعَبْدُ وَإِنْ كَانَ يَسِيرًا .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Umm Salamah said:‘By the One Who took his soul (i.e., the soul of the Prophet (ﷺ)), he did not die until he offered most of his prayers sitting down. And the dearest of the actions to him was the righteous action that the person does regularly, even if it were a little.”
Traduction en ourdou
ام المؤمنین ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ قسم ہے اس ذات کی جس نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی جان کو قبض کیا، آپ وفات سے پہلے اکثر بیٹھ کر نمازیں پڑھا کرتے تھے، اور آپ کو وہ نیک عمل انتہائی محبوب اور پسندیدہ تھا جس پر بندہ ہمیشگی اختیار کرے، خواہ وہ تھوڑا ہی ہو ۱؎۔
