Hadith 1217 — Livre 5: Establishing the Prayer and the Sunnah Regarding Them
كتاب إقامة الصلاة والسنن فيها
Rapporté par Abu Hurairah : Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : “Le diable s’interpose entre le fils d’Adam et son âme, et il ne sait plus combien de Rak‘a il a prié. Si quelqu’un s’en rend compte, qu’il fasse deux prosternations avant de dire le Salam.”

حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ وَكِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، أَخْبَرَنِي سَلَمَةُ بْنُ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " إِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَدْخُلُ بَيْنَ ابْنِ آدَمَ وَبَيْنَ نَفْسِهِ فَلاَ يَدْرِي كَمْ صَلَّى فَإِذَا وَجَدَ ذَلِكَ فَلْيَسْجُدْ سَجْدَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُسَلِّمَ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:“The Satan comes between the son of Adam and his soul, and he does not know how many Rak’ah he has prayed. If a person notices that, then let him prostrate twice before he says the Salam.”
Traduction en ourdou
ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: بیشک شیطان انسان اور اس کے دل کے درمیان داخل ہو جاتا ہے، یہاں تک کہ وہ نہیں جان پاتا کہ اس نے کتنی رکعت پڑھی؟ جب ایسا ہو تو سلام پھیرنے سے پہلے دو سجدے کرے ۱؎۔
