Hadith 1134 — Livre 5: Establishing the Prayer and the Sunnah Regarding Them
كتاب إقامة الصلاة والسنن فيها
Rapporté par ‘Amr bin Shu’aib, de la part de son père, que son grand-père a dit : “Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a interdit de s’asseoir en ramenant les cuisses contre le ventre et en les entourant avec les bras ou un vêtement le vendredi, c’est-à-dire pendant que l’imam prononce le sermon.”

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُصَفَّى الْحِمْصِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ وَاقِدٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَجْلاَنَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ عَنْ الاِحْتِبَاءِ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ - يَعْنِي - وَالإِمَامُ يَخْطُبُ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from ‘Amr bin Shu’aib, from his father, that his grandfather said:“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade Ihtiba’ (sitting with one's thighs gathered up against the stomach while wrapping one's arm or garment around them) on Fridays, meaning, when the Imam is delivering the sermon.”

عبداللہ بن عمرو بن العاص رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے جمعہ کے دن دوران خطبہ گوٹ مار کر بیٹھنے سے منع فرمایا ۱؎۔
