Rapporté par Aws bin Aws Ath-Thaqafi : J’ai entendu le Prophète (ﷺ) dire : “Celui qui prend un bain le vendredi, se lave complètement, part tôt et arrive tôt, marche sans utiliser de monture, s’assoit près de l’imam, l’écoute sans parler inutilement, pour chaque pas qu’il fait il recevra la récompense d’une année, la récompense d’une année de jeûne et de prière nocturne.”

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنِ الأَوْزَاعِيِّ، حَدَّثَنَا حَسَّانُ بْنُ عَطِيَّةَ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الأَشْعَثِ، حَدَّثَنِي أَوْسُ بْنُ أَوْسٍ الثَّقَفِيُّ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَقُولُ " مَنْ غَسَّلَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَاغْتَسَلَ، وَبَكَّرَ وَابْتَكَرَ، وَمَشَى وَلَمْ يَرْكَبْ، وَدَنَا مِنَ الإِمَامِ، فَاسْتَمَعَ، وَلَمْ يَلْغُ، كَانَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ خَطْوَةٍ عَمَلُ سَنَةٍ، أَجْرُ صِيَامِهَا وَقِيَامِهَا " .
Traduction anglaise
Aws bin Aws Ath-Thaqafi said:“I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say: ‘Whoever takes a bath on Friday, and bathes completely, and goes early, arriving early,* and walks and does not ride (to the mosque), and sits close to the Imam and listens to him, and does not engage in idle talk; for every step he takes he will have the reward of one year, the reward of a year’s fasting and praying (at night).”

اوس بن اوس ثقفی رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا: جس نے جمعہ کے دن غسل کرایا اور خود بھی غسل کیا ۱؎، اور نماز کے لیے سویرے نکلا اور شروع خطبہ میں حاضر ہوا، بغیر سواری کے پیدل چل کر آیا، اور امام کے قریب بیٹھا، خطبہ غور سے سنا، اور کوئی لغو کام نہیں کیا، تو اسے ہر قدم کے بدلے ایک سال کے نفلی روزوں اور تہجد کا ثواب ملے گا ۔
