كتاب إقامة الصلاة والسنن فيها
Rapporté par Jabir : Le Prophète (ﷺ) m’a envoyé faire une course, puis je l’ai rejoint alors qu’il priait, et je l’ai salué. Il m’a fait un geste, puis, quand il a terminé, il m’a appelé et m’a dit : « Tu m’as salué tout à l’heure, mais j’étais en prière. »

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ، أَنْبَأَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ بَعَثَنِي النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ لِحَاجَةٍ ثُمَّ أَدْرَكْتُهُ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي فَسَلَّمْتُ عَلَيْهِ فَأَشَارَ إِلَىَّ فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ دَعَانِي فَقَالَ " إِنَّكَ سَلَّمْتَ عَلَىَّ آنِفًا وَأَنَا أُصَلِّي " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Jabir said:“The Prophet (ﷺ) sent me on an errand, then I caught up with him while he was performing prayer, and I greeted him. He gestured to me, then when he finished, he called me and said: ‘You greeted me before, but I was performing prayer.’”

جابر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھے کسی ضرورت کے تحت بھیجا، جب میں واپس آیا تو آپ نماز پڑھ رہے تھے، میں نے آپ کو سلام کیا، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اشارے سے جواب دیا، جب آپ نماز سے فارغ ہو گئے تو مجھے بلایا، اور پوچھا: ابھی تم نے مجھے سلام کیا، اور میں نماز پڑھ رہا تھا ۱؎۔
