Hadith 1003 — Livre 5: Establishing the Prayer and the Sunnah Regarding Them
كتاب إقامة الصلاة والسنن فيها
Rapporté par ‘Abdur-Rahman bin ‘Ali bin Shaiban, d’après son père ‘Ali bin Shaiban, qui faisait partie de la délégation : Nous sommes partis jusqu’à arriver auprès du Prophète (ﷺ). Nous lui avons prêté allégeance et avons prié derrière lui. Ensuite, nous avons encore prié derrière lui. Il a terminé la prière et a vu un homme seul, priant derrière le rang. Le Prophète d’Allah (ﷺ) s’est alors approché de lui et, quand il a fini, il lui a dit : « Reprends ta prière ; il n’y a pas de prière valable pour celui qui prie derrière le rang. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُلاَزِمُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بَدْرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ شَيْبَانَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَلِيِّ بْنِ شَيْبَانَ - وَكَانَ مِنَ الْوَفْدِ - قَالَ خَرَجْنَا حَتَّى قَدِمْنَا عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَبَايَعْنَاهُ وَصَلَّيْنَا خَلْفَهُ ثُمَّ صَلَّيْنَا وَرَاءَهُ صَلاَةً أُخْرَى فَقَضَى الصَّلاَةَ فَرَأَى رَجُلاً فَرْدًا يُصَلِّي خَلْفَ الصَّفِّ . قَالَ فَوَقَفَ عَلَيْهِ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ حِينَ انْصَرَفَ قَالَ " اسْتَقْبِلْ صَلاَتَكَ، لاَ صَلاَةَ لِلَّذِي خَلْفَ الصَّفِّ " .
Traduction anglaise
‘Abdur-Rahman bin ‘Ali bin Shaiban narrated that his father, ‘Ali bin Shaiban, who was part of the delegation, said:“We set out until we came to the Prophet (ﷺ). We gave him our oath of allegiance and performed prayer behind him. Then we offered another prayer behind him. He finished the prayer and saw a man on his own, praying behind the row.” He said: “The Prophet of Allah (ﷺ) stood beside him and when he finished he said: ‘Repeat your prayer; there is no prayer for the one who is behind the row.’”
Traduction en ourdou
علی بن شیبان رضی اللہ عنہ اور (وہ وفد میں سے تھے) کہتے ہیں کہ ہم سفر کر کے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آئے، ہم نے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے بیعت کی اور آپ کے پیچھے نماز پڑھی، پھر ہم نے آپ کے پیچھے دوسری نماز پڑھی، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے نماز پوری کرنے کے بعد ایک شخص کو دیکھا کہ وہ صف کے پیچھے اکیلا نماز پڑھ رہا ہے، آپ اس کے پاس ٹھہرے رہے، جب وہ نماز سے فارغ ہوا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: دوبارہ نماز پڑھو، جو صف کے پیچھے اکیلے نماز پڑھے اس کی نماز نہیں ہوتی ۱؎۔
