Rapporté par Ibn 'Abbas : Les maisons des Ansar étaient loin de la mosquée et ils voulaient se rapprocher. Puis ce verset a été révélé : « Nous écrivons ce qu’ils ont avancé et les traces qu’ils laissent. » [Ya-Sin : 12] Il a dit : Ainsi, ils sont restés là où ils étaient

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ كَانَتِ الأَنْصَارُ بَعِيدَةً مَنَازِلُهُمْ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ فَأَرَادُوا أَنْ يَقْتَرِبُوا فَنَزَلَتْ {وَنَكْتُبُ مَا قَدَّمُوا وَآثَارَهُمْ} قَالَ فَثَبَتُوا .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbas said:"The houses of the Ansar were far from the mosque and they wanted to move closer. Then the following Verse was revealed: 'We record that which they send before (them), and their traces.'" [Ya-Sin: 12] He said: So they remained (where they were)
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ انصار کے مکانات مسجد نبوی سے کافی دور تھے، ان لوگوں نے ارادہ کیا کہ مسجد کے قریب آ جائیں تو یہ آیت کریمہ نازل ہوئی: «ونكتب ما قدموا وآثارهم» ہم ان کے کئے ہوئے اعمال اور نشانات قدم لکھیں گے ( يسين: 12 ) تو وہ اپنے مکانوں میں رک گئے ۱؎۔
