Rapporté par Ibn Mas’ud : Un homme est venu voir le Prophète (ﷺ) et lui a dit qu’il avait embrassé une femme, puis il a commencé à demander comment se racheter, mais le Prophète (ﷺ) ne lui a rien répondu. Ensuite, Allah a révélé ce verset : “Accomplis la prière aux deux extrémités du jour et à certains moments de la nuit. Les bonnes actions effacent les mauvaises. Voilà un rappel pour ceux qui réfléchissent.” [11:114] L’homme demanda : “Ô Messager d’Allah, ce verset est-il seulement pour moi ?” Il répondit : “Il est pour quiconque agit ainsi parmi ma communauté.”

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعْتَمِرُ، سَمِعْتُ أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عُثْمَانَ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، : أَنَّ رَجُلاً، أَتَى النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَذَكَرَ أَنَّهُ أَصَابَ مِنِ امْرَأَةٍ قُبْلَةً فَجَعَلَ يَسْأَلُ عَنْ كَفَّارَتِهَا فَلَمْ يَقُلْ لَهُ شَيْئًا فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ {وَأَقِمِ الصَّلاَةَ طَرَفَىِ النَّهَارِ وَزُلَفًا مِنَ اللَّيْلِ إِنَّ الْحَسَنَاتِ يُذْهِبْنَ السَّيِّئَاتِ ذَلِكَ ذِكْرَى لِلذَّاكِرِينَ} فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَلِي هَذِهِ فَقَالَ : " هِيَ لِمَنْ عَمِلَ بِهَا مِنْ أُمَّتِي " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Ibn Mas’ud that a man came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said that he had kissed a woman, and he started to ask about expiation, but he (the Prophet (ﷺ)) did not say anything to him. Then Allah revealed the Verse:“And perform prayers at the two ends of the day and in some hours of the night. Verily, the good deeds remove the evil deeds. That is a reminder for the mindful.” [11:114] The man said: “O Messenger of Allah, is this (the Verse) just for me?” He said: “It is for whoever acts upon it among my nation.”

عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک شخص نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آ کر بتایا کہ اس نے ایک عورت کا بوسہ لیا ہے، وہ اس کا کفارہ پوچھنے لگا، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس سے کچھ نہیں کہا تو اس پر اللہ عزوجل نے یہ آیت نازل فرمائی: «وأقم الصلاة طرفي النهار وزلفا من الليل إن الحسنات يذهبن السيئات ذلك ذكرى للذاكرين» نماز قائم کرو دن کے دونوں حصوں ( صبح و شام ) میں اور رات کے ایک حصے میں، بیشک نیکیاں برائیوں کو دور کر دیتی ہیں، یہ ذکر کرنے والوں کے لیے ایک نصیحت ہے ( سورۃ ہود: ۱۱۴ ) ، اس شخص نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! کیا یہ ( خاص ) میرے لیے ہے؟ تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: یہ میری امت میں سے ہر اس شخص کے لیے ہے جو اس پر عمل کرے ۔
