Hadith 4244 — Livre 37: Zuhd
كتاب الزهد
Rapporté par Abu Hurairah : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : “Quand le croyant commet un péché, une tache noire apparaît sur son cœur. S’il se repent, arrête ce péché et demande pardon, son cœur sera purifié. Mais si (le péché) augmente, (la tache noire) augmente aussi. C’est cela le Ran dont Allah parle dans Son Livre : “Non ! Mais sur leurs cœurs, il y a le Ran (c’est-à-dire la couverture des péchés et des mauvaises actions) qu’ils ont acquis.” [83:]”

حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، وَالْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَجْلاَنَ، عَنِ الْقَعْقَاعِ بْنِ حَكِيمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ : " إِنَّ الْمُؤْمِنَ إِذَا أَذْنَبَ كَانَتْ نُكْتَةٌ سَوْدَاءُ فِي قَلْبِهِ فَإِنْ تَابَ وَنَزَعَ وَاسْتَغْفَرَ صُقِلَ قَلْبُهُ فَإِنْ زَادَ زَادَتْ فَذَلِكَ الرَّانُ الَّذِي ذَكَرَهُ اللَّهُ فِي كِتَابِهِ {كَلاَّ بَلْ رَانَ عَلَى قُلُوبِهِمْ مَا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ} " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:“When the believer commits sin, a black spot appears on his heart. If he repents and gives up that sin and seeks forgiveness, his heart will be polished. But if (the sin) increases, (the black spot) increases. That is the Ran that Allah mentions in His Book: “Nay! But on their hearts is the Ran (covering of sins and evil deeds) which they used to earn.” [83:]
Traduction en ourdou
ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلیاللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جب مومن کوئی گناہ کرتا ہے تو اس کے دل میں ایک سیاہ نکتہ ( داغ ) لگ جاتا ہے، اگر وہ توبہ کرے، باز آ جائے اور مغفرت طلب کرے تو اس کا دل صاف کر دیا جاتا ہے، اور اگر وہ ( گناہ میں ) بڑھتا چلا جائے تو پھر وہ دھبہ بھی بڑھتا جاتا ہے، یہ وہی زنگ ہے جس کا ذکر اللہ تعالیٰ نے اپنی کتاب میں کیا ہے: «كلا بل ران على قلوبهم ما كانوا يكسبون» ہرگز نہیں بلکہ ان کے برے اعمال نے ان کے دلوں پر زنگ پکڑ لیا ہے جو وہ کرتے ہیں ( سورة المطففين: 14 ) ۔
