كتاب الزهد
Rapporté par Asma’ bint Yazid : Elle a entendu le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) dire : « Voulez-vous que je vous dise qui sont les meilleurs d’entre vous ? » Ils ont dit : « Oui, ô Messager d’Allah. » Il a dit : « Les meilleurs d’entre vous sont ceux qui, lorsqu’on les voit, rappellent Allah le Tout-Puissant, le Majestueux. »

حَدَّثَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ خُثَيْمٍ، عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ يَزِيدَ، أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَقُولُ " أَلاَ أُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِخِيَارِكُمْ " . قَالُوا بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ . قَالَ " خِيَارُكُمُ الَّذِينَ إِذَا رُءُوا ذُكِرَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Asma’ bint Yazid that she heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say:“Shall I not tell you of the best of you?” They said: “Yes, O Messenger of Allah.” He said: “The best of you are those who, when they are seen, Allah the Mighty, the Majestic, is remembered.”
Traduction en ourdou
اسماء بنت یزید رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ انہوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا: کیا میں تم کو یہ نہ بتا دوں کہ تم میں بہترین لوگ کون ہیں ؟ لوگوں نے عرض کیا: ضرور، اللہ کے رسول! آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تم میں سب سے اچھے وہ لوگ ہیں جن کو دیکھ کر اللہ یاد آئے ۔
