كتاب الفتن
Rapporté par Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) s’est levé pour faire un sermon, et il a dit entre autres : « En vérité, la crainte des gens ne doit pas empêcher un homme de dire la vérité s’il la connaît. » Puis Abu Sa’eed a pleuré et a dit : « Par Allah, nous avons vu des choses qui nous ont fait peur (et nous n’avons rien dit). »

حَدَّثَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مُوسَى، أَنْبَأَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ زَيْدِ بْنِ جُدْعَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَامَ خَطِيبًا فَكَانَ فِيمَا قَالَ " أَلاَ لاَ يَمْنَعَنَّ رَجُلاً هَيْبَةُ النَّاسِ أَنْ يَقُولَ بِحَقٍّ إِذَا عَلِمَهُ " . قَالَ فَبَكَى أَبُو سَعِيدٍ وَقَالَ قَدْ وَاللَّهِ رَأَيْنَا أَشْيَاءَ فَهِبْنَا .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Abu Sa’eed Al-Khudri that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) stood up to deliver a sermon, and one of the things he said was:“Indeed, fear of people should not prevent a man from speaking the truth, if he knows it.” Then Abu Sa'eed wept and said: "By Allah, we have seen things that made us scared (and we did not speak up)
Traduction en ourdou
ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم خطبہ دینے کے لیے کھڑے ہوئے تو جو باتیں کہیں، ان میں یہ بات بھی تھی: آگاہ رہو! کسی شخص کو لوگوں کا خوف حق بات کہنے سے نہ روکے، جب وہ حق کو جانتا ہو ، یہ حدیث بیان کر کے ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ رونے لگے اور فرمایا: اللہ کی قسم! ہم نے بہت سی باتیں ( خلاف شرع ) دیکھیں، لیکن ہم ڈر اور ہیبت کا شکار ہو گئے۔
