Rapporté par Abu Burdah : Je suis entré chez Muhammad bin Maslamah et il a dit que le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : « Il y aura des épreuves, des divisions et des dissensions. Quand cela arrivera, prends ton épée, va à Uhud et frappe-la jusqu’à ce qu’elle se casse, puis reste chez toi jusqu’à ce que la main d’un méchant vienne te tuer ou que la mort prédestinée t’atteigne. » Et cela est arrivé, et j’ai fait comme le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) l’a dit

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، - أَوْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ جُدْعَانَ شَكَّ أَبُو بَكْرٍ - عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ، قَالَ دَخَلْتُ عَلَى مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَسْلَمَةَ فَقَالَ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " إِنَّهَا سَتَكُونُ فِتْنَةٌ وَفُرْقَةٌ وَاخْتِلاَفٌ فَإِذَا كَانَ كَذَلِكَ فَأْتِ بِسَيْفِكَ أُحُدًا فَاضْرِبْهُ حَتَّى يَنْقَطِعَ ثُمَّ اجْلِسْ فِي بَيْتِكَ حَتَّى تَأْتِيَكَ يَدٌ خَاطِئَةٌ أَوْ مَنِيَّةٌ قَاضِيَةٌ " . فَقَدْ وَقَعَتْ وَفَعَلْتُ مَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Abu Burdah said:“I entered upon Muhammad bin Maslamah and he said that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘There will be tribulation, division and dissension. When that comes, take your sword to Uhud and strike it until it breaks, then sit in your house until there comes to you the hand of the evildoer (to kill you) or a predestined (natural) death.’” "And that came to pass, and I did as the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said
Traduction en ourdou
ابوبردہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں محمد بن مسلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس آیا، تو انہوں نے کہا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: بہت جلد ایک فتنہ ہو گا، فرقہ بندی ہو گی اور اختلاف ہو گا، جب یہ زمانہ آئے تو تم اپنی تلوار لے کر احد پہاڑ پر آنا، اور اس پر اسے مارنا کہ وہ ٹوٹ جائے، اور پھر اپنے گھر بیٹھ جانا یہاں تک کہ کوئی خطاکار ہاتھ تمہیں قتل کر دے، یا موت آ جائے جو تمہارا کام تمام کر دے ۔ محمد بن مسلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: یہ فتنہ آ گیا ہے، اور میں نے وہی کیا جو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا تھا۔
