كتاب الدعاء
Rapporté par Rabi’ah bin Ka’b Al-Aslami : Il racontait qu’il passait la nuit devant la porte du Messager d’Allah (ﷺ), et il entendait le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) dire pendant la nuit : « Subhan Allahi Rabbil-‘alamin (Gloire à Allah, le Seigneur des mondes) », répétant cela un moment, puis il disait : « Subhan Allahi wa bihamdihi (Gloire et louange à Allah). »

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، أَنْبَأَنَا شَيْبَانُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، أَنَّ رَبِيعَةَ بْنَ كَعْبٍ الأَسْلَمِيَّ، أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ، كَانَ يَبِيتُ عِنْدَ بَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ وَكَانَ يَسْمَعُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَقُولُ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ " سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ " . الْهَوِيَّ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ " سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ " .
Traduction anglaise
Rabi’ah bin Ka’b Al-Aslami narrated that he used to spend the night outside the door of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and he used to hear the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying at night:“Subhan Allahi Rabbil-‘alamin (Glory is to Allah, the Lord of the worlds),” repeating that for a while, then he said: Subhan Allahi wa bihamdihi (Glory and praise is to Allah).”

ربیعہ بن کعب اسلمی رضی اللہ عنہ خبر دیتے ہیں کہ وہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے دروازے کے پاس رات گزارتے تھے اور رات کو بڑی دیر تک آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو یہ کہتے ہوئے سنتے: «سبحان الله رب العالمين» پھر فرماتے: «سبحان الله وبحمده» ۱؎۔
