Hadith 3844 — Livre 34: Supplication
كتاب الدعاء
Rapporté par ‘Umar : Le Prophète ﷺ avait l’habitude de chercher refuge auprès d’Allah contre la lâcheté, l’avarice, la vieillesse, le châtiment de la tombe et l’épreuve du cœur. (Da’if) Waki’ (un des rapporteurs) a dit : « Cela signifie quand une personne meurt dans l’épreuve (Fitnah) et ne demande pas pardon à Allah. »

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ، عَنْ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ كَانَ يَتَعَوَّذُ مِنَ الْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ وَأَرْذَلِ الْعُمُرِ وَعَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَفِتْنَةِ الصَّدْرِ . قَالَ وَكِيعٌ يَعْنِي الرَّجُلَ يَمُوتُ عَلَى فِتْنَةٍ لاَ يَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ مِنْهَا .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from 'Umar that the :Prophet saas used to seek refuge with Allah from cowardice, miserliness, old age, the torment of the grave and the tribulation of the heart. (Da'if)(One of the narrators) Waki' said: "Meaning when a man dies in a state of tribulation (Fitnah) and does not ask Allah to forgive him
Traduction en ourdou
عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بزدلی، بخیلی، ارذل عمر ( انتہائی بڑھاپا ) ، قبر کے عذاب اور دل کے فتنہ سے پناہ مانگتے تھے۔ وکیع نے کہا: دل کا فتنہ یہ ہے کہ آدمی برے اعتقاد پر مر جائے، اور اللہ تعالیٰ سے اس کے بارے میں توبہ و استغفار نہ کرے
