Rapporté par Abdur-Rahman bin Abu Bakrah : Son père a dit : "Un homme a fait l’éloge d’un autre devant le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ). Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : 'Malheur à toi, tu as coupé le cou de ton compagnon', plusieurs fois. Puis il a dit : 'Si l’un de vous fait l’éloge de son frère, qu’il dise : "Je pense qu’il est comme ceci, mais je ne sanctifie personne devant Allah

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شَبَابَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ مَدَحَ رَجُلٌ رَجُلاً عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " وَيْحَكَ قَطَعْتَ عُنُقَ صَاحِبِكَ " . مِرَارًا ثُمَّ قَالَ " إِنْ كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ مَادِحًا أَخَاهُ فَلْيَقُلْ أَحْسِبُهُ وَلاَ أُزَكِّي عَلَى اللَّهِ أَحَدًا " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Abdur-Rahman bin Abu Bakrah that his father said:"A man praised another man in the presence of Messenger of Allah(ﷺ). The Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) said: 'Woe to you,you have cut the neck of your companion,'several times. Then he said: 'If anyone of you praises his brother, let him say: "I think he is lie this, but I do not sanctify anyone before Allah
Traduction en ourdou
ابوبکرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک شخص نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے سامنے ایک آدمی کی تعریف کی تو آپ نے فرمایا: افسوس! تم نے اپنے بھائی کی گردن کاٹ دی ، اس جملہ کو آپ نے کئی بار دہرایا، پھر فرمایا: تم میں سے اگر کوئی آدمی اپنے بھائی کی تعریف کرنا چاہے تو یہ کہے کہ میں ایسا سمجھتا ہوں، لیکن میں اللہ تعالیٰ کے اوپر کسی کو پاک نہیں کہہ سکتا ۱؎۔
