Hadith 3651 — Livre 32: Chapters on Dress
كتاب اللباس
Rapporté par ‘Aishah : Jibril (as) avait promis au Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) qu’il viendrait à une certaine heure, mais il a eu du retard. Le Prophète (ﷺ) est sorti et a vu Jibril debout à la porte. Il a dit : “Qu’est-ce qui t’a empêché d’entrer ?” Il a répondu : “Il y a un chien dans la maison, et nous n’entrons pas dans une maison où il y a un chien ou une image.”

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ وَاعَدَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ فِي سَاعَةٍ يَأْتِيهِ فِيهَا فَرَاثَ عَلَيْهِ فَخَرَجَ النَّبِيُّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَإِذَا هُوَ بِجِبْرِيلَ قَائِمٌ عَلَى الْبَابِ فَقَالَ " مَا مَنَعَكَ أَنْ تَدْخُلَ " . قَالَ إِنَّ فِي الْبَيْتِ كَلْبًا وَإِنَّا لاَ نَدْخُلُ بَيْتًا فِيهِ كَلْبٌ وَلاَ صُورَةٌ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that ‘Aishah said:“Jibril (as) promised the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) that he would come to him at a certain hour, but he was late. The Prophet (ﷺ) went out and there was Jibril standing at the door. He said: ‘What kept you from entering?’ He said: ‘There is a dog in the house, and we do not enter a house in which there is a dog or an image.’”
Traduction en ourdou
ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ جبرائیل علیہ السلام نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس ایک ایسے وقت میں آنے کا وعدہ کیا جس میں وہ آیا کرتے تھے، لیکن آنے میں دیر کی تو نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم باہر نکلے، دیکھا تو جبرائیل علیہ السلام دروازے پر کھڑے ہیں، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے پوچھا: آپ کو اندر آنے سے کس چیز نے باز رکھا؟ فرمایا: گھر میں کتا ہے، اور ہم لوگ ایسے گھر میں داخل نہیں ہوتے جہاں کتے اور تصویریں ہوں ۔
