Rapporté par Ibn ‘Umar : Les épouses du Prophète (ﷺ) avaient la permission de laisser traîner le bas de leurs robes, alors elles venaient vers nous et nous mesurions une longueur d’avant-bras pour elles avec un roseau

Texte arabe original
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ زَيْدٍ الْعَمِّيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي الصِّدِّيقِ النَّاجِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ أَزْوَاجَ النَّبِيِّ، ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ رُخِّصَ لَهُنَّ فِي الذَّيْلِ ذِرَاعًا فَكُنَّ يَأْتِيَنَّا فَنَذْرَعُ لَهُنَّ بِالْقَصَبِ ذِرَاعًا .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar:“The wives of the Prophet (ﷺ) were allowed to let their hems hang down, so they used to come to us and we would measure one forearms length for them with a reed.”
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی ازواج مطہرات رضی اللہ عنہن کو کپڑوں کے دامن ایک ہاتھ لٹکانے کی اجازت تھی، چنانچہ جب وہ ہمارے پاس آتیں تو ہم ان کے لیے لکڑی سے ایک ہاتھ کا ناپ بنا کر دیتے۔
