Rapporté par Ibn ‘Abbas : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : « Les meilleurs de vos vêtements sont les blancs, alors portez-les et enveloppez vos morts dedans. »

Texte arabe original
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ رَجَاءٍ الْمَكِّيُّ، عَنِ ابْنِ خُثَيْمٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " خَيْرُ ثِيَابِكُمُ الْبَيَاضُ فَالْبَسُوهَا وَكَفِّنُوا فِيهَا مَوْتَاكُمْ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Ibn ‘Abbas that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:“The best of your garments are the white ones, so wear them and shroud your dead in them.”
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تمہارے بہترین کپڑے سفید کپڑے ہیں، لہٰذا انہیں کو پہنو اور اپنے مردوں کو انہیں میں کفناؤ ۔
