Rapporté par ‘Ubaid bin Rifa’ah Az-Zuraqi : Asma’ a dit : « Ô Messager d’Allah ! Les enfants de Ja’far ont été touchés par le mauvais œil, dois-je leur réciter une Ruqyah ? » Il a dit : « Oui, car si quelque chose pouvait dépasser le décret divin, ce serait le mauvais œil. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ الزُّرَقِيِّ، قَالَ قَالَتْ أَسْمَاءُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ بَنِي جَعْفَرٍ تُصِيبُهُمُ الْعَيْنُ فَأَسْتَرْقِي لَهُمْ قَالَ " نَعَمْ فَلَوْ كَانَ شَىْءٌ سَابَقَ الْقَدَرَ سَبَقَتْهُ الْعَيْنُ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that ‘Ubaid bin Rifa’ah Az-Zuraqi said:“Asma’ said: ‘O Messenger of Allah! The children of Ja’far have been afflicted by the evil eye, shall I recite Ruqyah* for them?’ He said: ‘Yes, for if anything were to overtake the Divine decree it would be the evil eye.’”
Traduction en ourdou
عبید بن رفاعہ زرقی کہتے ہیں کہ اسماء بنت عمیس رضی اللہ عنہا نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے کہا: اللہ کے رسول! جعفر کے بیٹوں کو نظر بد لگ جاتی ہے، کیا میں ان کے لیے دم کر سکتی ہوں؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ہاں، اگر کوئی چیز لکھی ہوئی تقدیر پر سبقت لے جاتی تو نظر بد لے جاتی ۱؎۔
