Rapporté par Salim bin ‘Abdullah, d’après son père : Le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : « Utilisez l’antimoine, car il améliore la vue et fait pousser les cils. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ، يَحْيَى بْنُ خَلَفٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَالِمَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ " عَلَيْكُمْ بِالإِثْمِدِ فَإِنَّهُ يَجْلُو الْبَصَرَ وَيُنْبِتُ الشَّعَرَ " .
Traduction anglaise
Salim bin ‘Abdullah narrated that his father said:“The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘You should use antimony, for it improves the eyesight and makes the hair (eyelashes) grow.’”
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تم لوگ اپنے اوپر «اثمد» ۲؎ کو لازم کر لو، اس لیے کہ وہ بینائی تیز کرتا ہے اور بال اگاتا ہے ۔
