Rapporté par Asma’ bint Abu Bakr : Lorsqu’une femme souffrant de fièvre était amenée chez elle, elle demandait de l’eau et en versait sur le col de son vêtement. Elle disait : Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Rafraîchissez-la avec de l’eau, » et il a dit : « Elle vient de la chaleur du feu de l’Enfer. »

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْمُنْذِرِ، عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، أَنَّهَا كَانَتْ تُؤْتَى بِالْمَرْأَةِ الْمَوْعُوكَةِ فَتَدْعُو بِالْمَاءِ فَتَصُبُّهُ فِي جَيْبِهَا وَتَقُولُ إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " ابْرُدُوهَا بِالْمَاءِ " . وَقَالَ " إِنَّهَا مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Asma’ bint Abu Bakr that a woman suffering from fever would be brought to her, and she would call for water and pour it onto the neck of her garment. She said:The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Cool it down with water,” and he said: “It is from the heat of Hell-fire.”
Traduction en ourdou
اسماء بنت ابی بکر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ ان کے پاس بخار کی مریضہ ایک عورت لائی جاتی تھی، تو وہ پانی منگواتیں، پھر اسے اس کے گریبان میں ڈالتیں، اور کہتیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا ارشاد ہے کہ اسے پانی سے ٹھنڈا کرو نیز آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا ارشاد ہے کہ یہ جہنم کی بھاپ ہے ۔
