Rapporté par ‘Uthman bin ‘Abdul-Malik : J’ai entendu Salim bin ‘Abdullah rapporter de son père que le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) a dit : “Vous devriez manger cette graine noire, car il y a dans celle-ci une guérison pour toute maladie, sauf le Sam (la mort).”

Texte arabe original
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ، يَحْيَى بْنُ خَلَفٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَالِمَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ " عَلَيْكُمْ بِهَذِهِ الْحَبَّةِ السَّوْدَاءِ فَإِنَّ فِيهَا شِفَاءً مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ إِلاَّ السَّامَ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that ‘Uthman bin ‘Abdul-Malik said:“I heard Salim bin ‘Abdullah narrating from his father that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘You should eat this black seed, for in it there is healing from every disease, except the Sam (death).’”
Traduction en ourdou
عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تم اس کالے دانے کا استعمال پابندی سے کرو اس لیے کہ اس میں سوائے موت کے ہر مرض کا علاج ہے ۔
