Rapporté par ‘Atiyyah bin ‘Amir Al-Juhani : J’ai entendu Salman, quand il était forcé de manger, dire : “Il me suffit d’avoir entendu le Messager d’Allah (ﷺ) dire : Les gens qui se rassasient le plus dans ce monde seront les plus affamés au Jour de la Résurrection.”

حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الْعَسْكَرِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الثَّقَفِيُّ، عَنْ مُوسَى الْجُهَنِيِّ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَلْمَانَ، وَأُكْرِهَ، عَلَى طَعَامٍ يَأْكُلُهُ فَقَالَ حَسْبِي إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ يَقُولُ " إِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ شِبَعًا فِي الدُّنْيَا أَطْوَلُهُمْ جُوعًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that ‘Atiyyah bin ‘Amir Al-Juhani said:“I heard Salman, when he was forced to eat food, say: ‘It is sufficient for me that I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: The people who most eat their fill in this world will be the most hungry on the Day of Resurrection.’”

عطیہ بن عامر جہنی کہتے ہیں کہ سلمان فارسی رضی اللہ عنہ کو کھانا کھانے پر مجبور کیا گیا تو میں نے ان کو کہتے سنا: میرے لیے کافی ہے کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے: دنیا میں سب سے زیادہ شکم سیر ہو کر کھانے والا قیامت کے دن سب سے زیادہ بھوکا ہو گا ۔
