Rapporté par Hakin bin Jabr : J'ai rendu visite au Prophète ﷺ chez lui, et il avait devant lui de la courge. J'ai demandé : "Qu'est-ce que c'est ?" Il a répondu : "C'est du qar, c'est de la courge. Nous en ajoutons à notre nourriture

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنْ حَكِيمِ بْنِ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ دَخَلْتُ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فِي بَيْتِهِ وَعِنْدَهُ هَذِهِ الدُّبَّاءُ فَقُلْتُ أَىُّ شَىْءٍ هَذَا قَالَ " هَذَا الْقَرْعُ هُوَ الدُّبَّاءُ نُكَثِّرُ بِهِ طَعَامَنَا " .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated from Hakin bin Jabr that his father said:“I entered upon the Prophet (ﷺ) in his house, and he had some of this gourd. I said: ‘What is this?’ He said: ‘This is Qar’; it is Dubba’. We augment our food with it.”
Traduction en ourdou
جابر (جابر بن طارق) رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آپ کے گھر گیا، آپ کے پاس یہ کدو رکھا ہوا تھا تو میں نے پوچھا: یہ کیا ہے؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: یہ «قرع» یعنی کدو ہے، ہم اس سے اپنے کھانے زیادہ کرتے ہیں ۱؎۔
