كتاب الأطعمة
Rapporté par Anas bin Malik – un homme de la tribu de Banu ‘Abdul-Ashhal – : Je suis allé voir le Prophète (ﷺ) alors qu’il prenait son petit-déjeuner et il m’a dit : « Viens manger. » J’ai répondu : « Je jeûne. » Hélas ! Si seulement j’avais mangé de la nourriture du Messager d’Allah (ﷺ). »

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ أَبِي هِلاَلٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَوَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، - رَجُلٌ مِنْ بَنِي عَبْدِ الأَشْهَلِ - قَالَ أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ وَهُوَ يَتَغَدَّى فَقَالَ " ادْنُ فَكُلْ " . فَقُلْتُ إِنِّي صَائِمٌ فَيَا لَهْفَ نَفْسِي هَلاَّ كُنْتُ طَعِمْتُ مِنْ طَعَامِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Anas bin Malik – a man from the tribe of Banu ‘Abdul-Ashhal – said:* “I came to the Prophet (ﷺ) when he was eating breakfast and he said: ‘Come and eat.’ I said: ‘I am fasting. Alas! Would that I had eaten of the food of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ).’”
Traduction en ourdou
انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ (جو قبیلہ بنی عبدالاشہل کے ایک شخص ہیں) کہتے ہیں کہ میں نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا، اس وقت آپ دوپہر کا کھانا کھا رہے تھے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: آؤ کھانا کھاؤ ،، میں نے عرض کیا: میں روزے سے ہوں، تو ہائے افسوس کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے کھانے میں سے کیوں نہیں کھا لیا
