كتاب الصيد
Rapporté par Thabit bin Yazid Al-Ansari : Nous étions avec le Prophète (ﷺ) et les gens ont attrapé un varan. Ils l’ont grillé et en ont mangé. Ensuite, j’ai attrapé un varan, je l’ai grillé et je l’ai apporté au Prophète (ﷺ). Il a pris une tige de palmier et a commencé à compter ses doigts avec, puis il a dit : “Une nation parmi les Enfants d’Israël a été transformée en bêtes de la terre, et je ne sais pas si c’est celle-ci.” J’ai dit : “Les gens les ont grillés et en ont mangé.” Il n’en a pas mangé et ne l’a pas interdit

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الأَنْصَارِيِّ، قَالَ كُنَّا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَأَصَابَ النَّاسُ ضِبَابًا فَاشْتَوَوْهَا فَأَكَلُوا مِنْهَا فَأَصَبْتُ مِنْهَا ضَبًّا فَشَوَيْتُهُ ثُمَّ أَتَيْتُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ فَأَخَذَ جَرِيدَةً فَجَعَلَ يَعُدُّ بِهَا أَصَابِعَهُ فَقَالَ " إِنَّ أُمَّةً فِي بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ مُسِخَتْ دَوَابَّ فِي الأَرْضِ وَإِنِّي لاَ أَدْرِي لَعَلَّهَا هِيَ " . فَقُلْتُ إِنَّ النَّاسَ قَدِ اشْتَوَوْهَا فَأَكَلُوهَا فَلَمْ يَأْكُلْ وَلَمْ يَنْهَ .
Traduction anglaise
It was narrated that Thabit bin Yazid Al-Ansari said:“We were with the Prophet (ﷺ) and the people caught a mastigure. They grilled it and ate from it. Then I caught a mastigure so I grilled it and brought it to the Prophet (ﷺ). He took a palm stalk and started counting his finger with it, and said: ‘A nation from among the Children of Israel was turned into beasts of the earth, and I do not know if this is they.’ I said: ‘The people have grilled them and eaten them.’ He did not eat it and he did not forbid it.”
Traduction en ourdou
ثابت بن یزید انصاری رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم لوگ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ تھے، لوگوں نے ضب ( گوہ ) پکڑے اور انہیں بھونا، اور اس میں سے کھایا، میں نے بھی ایک گوہ پکڑی اور اسے بھون کر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر کیا، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک لکڑی لی، اور اس کے ذریعہ اس کی انگلیاں شمار کرنے لگے اور فرمایا: بنی اسرائیل کا ایک گروہ مسخ ہو کر زمین میں کا ایک جانور بن گیا، اور میں نہیں جانتا شاید وہ یہی ہو ، میں نے عرض کیا: لوگ اسے بھون کر کھا بھی گئے، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے نہ تو اسے کھایا اور نہ ہی ( اس کے کھانے سے ) منع کیا۔
